Subject Help with committing document to home.apache.org
Date Tue, 17 May 2016 20:57:21 GMT

Would someone help to clarify the current approach to publish the
Hadoop's official document?
Since people.apache.org being moved to home.apache.org, the server
does not allow ssh logins. Thus the instructions on wiki
(https://wiki.apache.org/hadoop/HowToCommit) is not valid anymore:

svn co https://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/hadoop/common/site
cd site/main
$FORREST_HOME/tools/ant/bin/ant -Dforrest.home=$FORREST_HOME # Newer
version of Ant does not work. Use the Ant bundled with forrest.
firefox publish/index.html # preview the changes
svn stat # check for new pages
svn add # add any new pages
svn commit
ssh people.apache.org
cd /www/hadoop.apache.org/common
svn up

Thanks very much!
