> Affects Versions: trunk-win

> Attachments: HADOOP-9146-branch-trunk-win.1.patch
> The problem is visible by running {{TestDFSShell#testFilePermissions}}. The test fails
on trying to set sticky bit. The problem is that branch-trunk-win accidentally merged in
a branch-1 change in {{RawLocalFileSystem#setPermission}} to call {{FileUtil#setPermission}},
which sets permissions using Java {{File}} API. There is no way to set sticky bit through
this API. We need to switch back to the trunk implementation of {{RawLocalFileSystem#setPermission}},
which uses either native code or a shell call to external chmod.
