Subject [jira] [Created] (HADOOP-7699) Test failures if user has kerberos tickets
Date Thu, 29 Sep 2011 22:21:45 GMT
Test failures if user has kerberos tickets

                 Key: HADOOP-7699
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/HADOOP-7699
             Project: Hadoop Common
          Issue Type: Bug
          Components: test
    Affects Versions:
            Reporter: Daryn Sharp
            Assignee: Daryn Sharp

I haven't run all the tests, and I haven't tested on trunk, but TestSaslRPC is crashing if
I have a kerberos ticket. I have to issue kdestroy before running tests, lest java crashes:

    [junit] Running org.apache.hadoop.ipc.TestSaslRPC
[junit] Invalid memory access of location 0x2e rip=0x1010ab900
    [junit] Running org.apache.hadoop.ipc.TestSaslRPC
[junit] Tests run: 1, Failures: 0, Errors: 1, Time elapsed: 0 sec
    [junit] Test org.apache.hadoop.ipc.TestSaslRPC FAILED (crashed)

I had hoped I could run unit tests with security enabled...
