Hi George,

UC Santa Cruz contributed a ;login: article describing replacing HDFS =
with Ceph.  (I was one of the authors.)  One of the key architectural =
advantages of Ceph over HDFS is that Ceph distributes its metadata =
service over multiple metadata servers.
