On building the project in eclipse, I also get the following two errors:

Description Resource Path Location Type
The project was not built since its build path is incomplete. Cannot find
the class file for com.sun.javadoc.RootDoc. Fix the build path then try
building this project Hadoop Unknown Java Problem
The type com.sun.javadoc.RootDoc cannot be resolved. It is indirectly
referenced from required .class files
ExcludePrivateAnnotationsJDiffDoclet.java
Hadoop/src/java/org/apache/hadoop/classification/tools line 1 Java Problem
