Permissions of the paths created should be changed using java 6 api to set permission instead
of costly spawning chmod processes. Java api doesn't cover all possible combinations of unix
permissions, particularly group permissions separate from others which are unrecognizable
on Windows. Despite this, using java api would be fast and should address most of the common
requirements.
