Subject [jira] Commented: (HADOOP-5161) Accepted sockets do not get placed in DataXceiverServer#childSockets

dhruba borthakur commented on HADOOP-5161:
------------------------------------------

In the 0.18 branch, there is a call to childSockets.put(s, s) in the constructor of DataXceiver.
I guess it might have got removed when the re-org of source code happened. This could cause
some unit tests to fail, especially those unit tests that create/delete multiple instances
of datanode.

> DAtaXceiver#childSockets is a map that keeps track of all open sockets that are accepted
by DataXceiverServer but no socket does get added to this map.
