Date Wed, 20 Aug 2008 08:44:44 GMT

Amar Kamat updated HADOOP-3976:

    Attachment: HADOOP-3976-v1.patch

Attaching a patch that adds a _stop()_ api to indicate that the thread is required to stop.
Every thread now loops on _stop_ variable instead of looping forever.

> JobTracker.close() shuts down all the worker threads by interrupting them and then doing
a join. This will work if the thread is in {{WAITING}} state. Most of the time the worker
threads are in the {{RUNNING}} state and the JT waits forever on the join().
