Amar, 

in getInputStream, you set the read timeout to 30, which is not  we want to have now.
instead, you shoud do:
    connection.setConnectTimeout(unit);
    connection.setReadTimeout(timeout);

BTW, what is the unit for the timeout value? second or millisecond?
