In PipeMapRed.java, the fields log_ & LOGNAME seems useless since they remain null throughout. It might cause issues at PipeMapRed.java:[line 352]. Also, the field mapRedKey_ in the same file is always null and might cause issues if the getContext() method is ever invoked (it is never invoked in the current code). 
We possibly can remove references to these fields.
