Version upgrade feature lets us go back to old state even if we removed old CRC files. Taking
advantage of version upgrade would require that we should not modify block files (ie. no inline
CRCs, otherwise DN needs to be able to store two copies). As such, I hadn't planned on removing
old CRC files as part of upgrade. We could write an external script to delete all .crc files
after the system has been running well.
