Tahir Hashmi updated HADOOP-1071:
---------------------------------

    Attachment: 1071.patch

Patch for fixing HADOOP-1071. Apart from fixing the retry issue, I've also changed the log
level to fatal in JobTracker.main's exception handler.

Tested the patch on a single-node setup. JT now dies with a message similar to the one below:

2007-03-14 23:45:29,572 FATAL org.apache.hadoop.mapred.JobTracker: org.apache.hadoop.ipc.RPC$VersionMismatch:
Protocol org.apache.hadoop.dfs.ClientProtocol version mismatch. (client = 99, server = 9)
    at org.apache.hadoop.ipc.RPC.getProxy(RPC.java:252)
    at org.apache.hadoop.dfs.DFSClient.<init>(DFSClient.java:105)

> The following exception should be fatal to the JT, but isn't. Instead, this exception
is repeated every 1 second forever.
