  4. You don't need to add the type parameter to the taskdetails.jsp because it is available
in TaskStatus.getIsMap() 

I added this to simplify the html generation, taskdetails.jsp is used for both Map and Reduce
tasks, we get TaskStatuses from tracker.getTaskStatuses(). The header is generated even if
there is no task status. using an extra parameter simplifies this. 

I agree with rest of the comments.
