default behaviour of dfsShell -rm should resemble 'rm -i', not 'rm -rf'
-----------------------------------------------------------------------

                 Key: HADOOP-431
                 URL: http://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/HADOOP-431
             Project: Hadoop
          Issue Type: Improvement
            Reporter: Yoram Arnon

when using hadoop dfs -rm <path> the behaviour is like that of rm -rf.
That's very dangerous.
A better behaviour would require a confirmation and allow removal of files only by default.
Optional flags would allow recursive and forced deleted.
