Well, spring-core doesn't actually contain that missing BeanFactory. I
think you need spring-beans.jar,  which involves adding a <depend> tag
to the hivemind
project definition:

https://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/gump/metadata/project/jakarta-hivemind.xml

Looking at

https://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/gump/metadata/project/spring.xml

you need to change the line

    <depend project="spring" ids="spring-core"/>

to

    <depend project="spring" ids="spring-core, spring-beans"/>

or something similar.

And yes, you do indeed have karma to fix that file yourself :-)
