I still don't know whether net.inet6.ip6.v6only is an OS setting or something for Java, but we should be able to circumvent the problem by setting the system property java.net.preferIPv4Stack in all Gump builds. I've changed hermes.apache.org.xml to reflect this. AFAIU Adam is working to get the cron job working so it should get picked up on the next run.
