The "traditional" Perl script only set the From header, while it
doesn't fiddle with the Envelope-From (it does so by simply piping the
mail through sendmail IIRC).

So you don't send "mail FROM:<rubys@us.ibm.com>", but "mail
FROM:<account@localmachine>" and put the configured sender's address
into the From header.
