Hi Mike,

thanks a lot! Just tested it. It works fine for Chrome and Firefox on
Windows 10 and Linux (with dead keys enabled and disabled).

This will be very helpful for my users!

Unfortunately, I don't see an improvement for Chrome and Firefox on
macOS 10.13.

I haven't tested with other browsers, yet.
