Subject VNC Repeater - Not a valid VNC server (ID:xxxx)
Date Fri, 30 Jun 2017 21:49:40 GMT
Hi,

I have been trying to setup a Guacamole server with VNC Repeater
configuration but getting an error during connection.

My configuration in the Guacamole Server is as follow:

<config name="RepeaterVnc1" protocol="vnc">

    ID
    8179
  </config>

I am using UltraVNC on another server as a VNC Server to initiate a
connection to the guacamole server.

HostName: guacamoleServerHostName:5900
Connection #: ID:8179

However, when I click OK, I get an error 'Could not connection using
ID:8179.

In the Guacamole Server syslog, I see the following error:

Jun 30 10:59:56 FMUbuntu2 guacd[7511]: Listening for connections on port

Can someone advice me what I am doing wrong?

Help much appreciated and many thanks in advance!
