Subject [jira] [Commented] (GUACAMOLE-100) Support arbitrary extensions within Guacamole Docker image
Date Fri, 02 Sep 2016 21:38:20 GMT

Michael Jumper commented on GUACAMOLE-100:

Current work-in-progress is on [the "docker-guacamole-home" branch of my GitHub fork|].
I have defined the following additional environment variable:

|| Name || Description ||
| {{GUACAMOLE_HOME}} | The directory from which the image's internal {{GUACAMOLE_HOME}} should
be derived. If specified, the contents of this directory will be copied into {{/root/.guacamole/}}
just prior to auto-generating the configuration. |

Arbitrary base configurations can thus be supplied by mounting a local directory within the
image (using the {{-v}} option for {{docker run}}), and pointing {{GUACAMOLE_HOME}} at that

and/or Docker links, but does not provide for custom authentication or theming extensions,
limiting the usefulness of the Docker images to stock deployments.
