Subject [jira] [Created] (GUACAMOLE-21) Support LDAP within Docker image
Date Thu, 19 May 2016 05:58:12 GMT
Michael Jumper created GUACAMOLE-21:

Summary: Support LDAP within Docker image
                 Key: GUACAMOLE-21
             Project: Guacamole
          Issue Type: Improvement
          Components: guacamole-docker
            Reporter: Michael Jumper
            Priority: Critical
             Fix For: 0.9.10-incubating

*The description of this issue was copied from [GUAC-1467|],
an issue in the JIRA instance used by the Guacamole project prior to its acceptance into the
Apache Incubator.*

Comments, attachments, related issues, and history from prior to acceptance *have not been
copied* and can be found instead at the original issue.

While the Guacamole Docker image currently supports database authentication against MySQL
or PostgreSQL databases, it does not currently support LDAP (nor combinations of LDAP with
database auth).

To reach parity with the capabilities of a non-Docker installation of Guacamole, at least
with respect to officially-supported extensions, we must at least add support for LDAP through
the same mechanisms currently used to configure MySQL or PostgreSQL auth.
