Henk van Voorthuijsen commented on GROOVY-9030:

Hmm..  given that groovy-xml and and groovy-json are included, that decision feels a bit
arbitrary. Shouldn't groovy-yaml be treated the same?

>                 Key: GROOVY-9030
>                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/GROOVY-9030
>             Project: Groovy
>          Issue Type: Improvement
>          Components: groovy-jdk
>    Affects Versions: 3.0.0-alpha-4
>            Reporter: Henk van Voorthuijsen
>            Assignee: Daniel Sun
>            Priority: Minor
>
> How to reproduce:
> Add the following dependency to build.gradle:
> {code:java}
> implementation 'org.codehaus.groovy:groovy-all:3.0.0-alpha-4'
> {code}
> After resolving, groovy-yaml will not be present.
> Adding the following line does work, however:
> {code:java}
> implementation 'org.codehaus.groovy:groovy-yaml:3.0.0-alpha-4'
> {code}
