Wow, cool idea!

Do you find in the testing you arrive at an average size for a given job, configuration, and
input data set for most of the buffers? would it be worth collecting an average, bumping it
up a little, and reusing the same buffer of that average size until a larger one was needed,
or is a direct buffer reused under the hood by Netty already?
