Subject [jira] [Commented] (GIRAPH-147) Add Blueprints Tinkerpop support

Paolo Castagna commented on GIRAPH-147:
---------------------------------------

Blueprints is a generic graph API which can be put on top of a graph database to use and manipulate
graph data. Giraph isn't a graph database, it's a graph processing framework.

An external example showing people how to use graphs stored elsewhere as input/output for
Giraph jobs would probably be useful, but these are just custom Vertex[Input|Output]Format
and Vertex[Reader|Writer] which developers can write and it does not make much sense to add
dependencies to Giraph for this.

Why not to close this as "Won't Fix"?

> Hoping that Giraph might add TinkerPop Blueprint support. :)
