thanks ivan. Add it to wish list https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/GERONIMO-6105. Will do some investigation about it. Glassfish implements this function.

Geronimo uses rmi service implementation from JRE, and so far, no balance and fail over function is provided from Geronimo side. Maybe some codes from OpenEJB could be reused, e.g. extend the default rmi context factory or create a context factory adapter to support compound URL.

As far as what I know about YOKO, the corba and RMI provider for Geronimo, we don't support RMI object load balance(maybe I am wrong)

Hi,Dev:

In current geronimo 2.1.* and 2.2.*, as i know, high scalability and load balance are implemented in web-tier and ejb-tier.
I am not sure whether we support failover and load balance RMI Object and  if an end-user deploy its RMI service on geronimo clustered environment
so they can achieve high availability and load balancing of container and leveraging  geronimo containers JVM so that it will be robust, how to configure it?

Appreciate your guide.
