Mark Struberg commented on GERONIMO-5444:
-----------------------------------------

is there any started() or ready() 'event' (callback, etc) which can listen to? I always feel
really uncomfortable when I hear the word 'delays' ;)

> If ActiveMQ is being started asynchronously (e.g. for a master-slave shared file system
configuration), JMS clients may be started prior to the actual start of the server. We should
allow the doStart of the ActiveMQ service to have a delay, giving time for the service to
start, if this server ends up being the Master.
