 Idle timeout specifies the maximum time that an instance should be allowed to sit idly in
the pool without use before it should be retired and
removed.

I installed calculator sample  which is a stateless ejb app, set poolsize 20, idletimeout
0,  run 100 clients against this application, use jconsole to monitor this calculator slsb
pool,  accesstimouts is 67, instances 20, after i changed idletimeout to larger number 30000,
instances number would decrease, access timeout too. So this attribute worked as its definition
on geronimo 2.2.1 latest build:
