What is the state of this?  The comment indicates that a new DB2-XA tranql adapter was pushed but I don't see one out there (the latest is still 1.2 released in April, 2008).  Is there work to release 1.3 very soon (like in the next day or so)?  Comment on the update to 1.3-SNAPSHOT is that there is some issue that is being worked.  Are things close to being resolved?  If not, then this won't make 2.1.4.
