Subject [jira] Commented: (GERONIMODEVTOOLS-473) Problem starting server with WTP201
Date Tue, 02 Sep 2008 11:29:44 GMT

Jean-Jacques Parent commented on GERONIMODEVTOOLS-473:

I have installed GEP 2.1.2 with Geronimo 2.1.2.
The problem mentioned in this issue does not appear anymore. The server starts and stops fine.

But I have some problems when developing with Geronimo, especially at (re)deployment time.

When modifying any java or jsp file, the corresponding jar or web application is marked as
to be republished. The server automatically republishes the entire application, but this process
fails: the republish action hangs. I finally have to stop the geronimo server and clean the
situation. (remove the project and add it again to the server).
You can imagine that this process takes too much time in a development phase.

I have attached the jira-473.doc with some printscreens.
Just let me know if I am doing something wrong or if some configurations are missing.

Thanks in advance.
