Subject [jira] Commented: (GERONIMO-4005) Can't create DB2 Connections - form tries to call non-existant function passwordElementsConfirm

Andrew commented on GERONIMO-4005:
----------------------------------

I think this can be closed - I'm not sure what the hell I was doing, but I'd swear that, while
using Geronimo 2.1, it couldn't find that function. Even viewing the javascript file in the
browser showed that it didn't have it.

The odd thing is that the one on disk *did* have it. I've been swapping fairly frequently
between Geronimo 1.1.1, 2.1 and 2.0.2, so could that have something to do with? Maybe it's
somehow being cached? Either way, after I forced a refresh on the javascript file (ctrl +
F5 in Firefox), it suddunly matched the one on disk, and everything worked. Very weird. I
also had the problem after stopping 2.1 and firing up 2.0.2, but before I'd forced a refresh
of forms.js.

It's working fine now though. That was just weird.

> For whatever reason, I can't create a new DB Connection Pool for DB2 databases (it may
affect others, not sure), as the form tries to call the function passwordElementsConfirm,
which is not defined in the page, nor is it defined in the file forms.js, which seems to be
the only javascript file included in the page.
> Using Geronimo 2.1 (Jetty 6), JDK 1.5.0, all totally standard.
