Modified the assembly archetype a little bit to match. So the big change is there is a server-lifecycle packaging that automatically calls the appropriate car-maven-plugin mojos without any configuration. However you still need to configure the server-instances somewhere in the ancestry of the pom. trunk rev 638137. branches 2.1 rev 638148 > Make car-maven-plugin assembly independent of tools-maven-plugin > ---------------------------------------------------------------- > > Key: GERONIMO-3924 > URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/GERONIMO-3924 > Project: Geronimo > Issue Type: Bug > Security Level: public(Regular issues) > Components: buildsystem > Affects Versions: 2.1 > Reporter: David Jencks > Assignee: David Jencks > Fix For: 2.1.1, 2.2 > > > In order to get the car-maven-plugin to assemble a server you need to set up the extensions from the tools-maven-plugin even if you aren't using it for anything else. Maybe there's some maven config in the tools-maven-plugin that could be moved? -- This message is automatically generated by JIRA. - You can reply to this email to add a comment to the issue online.
