I tested that the app client doesn't modify config.xml by hand, but am not sure quite how to write an automated test for it.... maybe looking up server info and locating config.xml and grepping??? I also checked this didn't break the tck app client tests. > Running an app client is adding an entry for that app client in config.xml > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- > > Key: GERONIMO-3729 > URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/GERONIMO-3729 > Project: Geronimo > Issue Type: Bug > Security Level: public(Regular issues) > Components: application client > Affects Versions: 2.0.2 > Reporter: David Jencks > Assignee: David Jencks > Priority: Blocker > Fix For: 2.1 > > > A user has reported that running an app client adds an entry for that app client in config.xml. This shouldn't happen. One result is that if you stop geronimo while the app client is running (and the entry present) and restart geronimo, g. tries to run the app client inside the server which doesn't work. -- This message is automatically generated by JIRA. - You can reply to this email to add a comment to the issue online.
