Subject [jira] Closed: (GERONIMO-3729) Running an app client is adding an entry for that app client in config.xml

David Jencks closed GERONIMO-3729.
----------------------------------

    Resolution: Fixed

Fixed in rev 616532 by making the read-only attribute on the LocalAttributeManager work for
the PersistentConfigurationList interface too, and setting read-only in the app client attribute
manager. I tested that the app client doesn't modify config.xml by hand, but am not sure
quite how to write an automated test for it.... maybe looking up server info and locating
config.xml and grepping???

I also checked this didn't break the tck app client tests.

> A user has reported that running an app client adds an entry for that app client in config.xml.
This shouldn't happen. One result is that if you stop geronimo while the app client is running
(and the entry present) and restart geronimo, g. tries to run the app client inside the server
which doesn't work.
