I do indeed realize that this is just a bandaid.  If we can get the parser to handle this
all without the post-processing, that would be fantastic.  I don't know anywhere near enough
about JavaCC to accomplish that myself, though.  I thought that, given the hopes and dreams
of a gshell release, it would be better to have something than nothing in regards to this
