Subject [jira] Commented: (GERONIMODEVTOOLS-141) Installation/Activation of other Plugins fail after installing Devtools plugin
Date Wed, 04 Jul 2007 08:50:04 GMT

Jacek Laskowski commented on GERONIMODEVTOOLS-141:

I had also run into the issue of not being able to install the Spring IDE plugin because of
Geronimo dependencies. I'm glad you found a solution to it, but am wondering whether it doesn't
cause any troubles for earlier releases of Eclipse as they don't use WTP 2.0.0 and so no org.eclipse.jst
at 2.0.0 level is available for them. I think Sachin should take a look at it soon or...I'm
going to change feature.xml's to use 2.0.0 and possibly break earlier Eclipse versions.

the plugin.
> But after restart Eclipse the plugin is disabled. If you try to enable it, you get:
> Requested operation cannot be performed because it would invalidate the current configuration.
See details for more information. org.apache.geronimo.feature (1.2.0) requires plug-in "".
