We already had them in blue in the original version, this blue shade is different form the
links. The idea is to highlight these with the same tone as the banner bkground

These are automatically generated, a new way to keep the site up to date. Just click on "add
news" (need to be a committer though) and the news will get populated on the home page, just
3 at a time. All the news will get stored either in events or news archive.

this is just temporary till we all agree on using the "Add News" feature from confluence to
manage this kind of updates.

it can be easily moved.

we can take it out. This vote is just for the authoring thingy, we need to have further discussion
on a separate thread on how we want to organize and display the info.

This is a temporary location, not all the links may work.
