Jörg Heinicke commented on GERONIMO-2552:
-----------------------------------------

I guess you are talking about SVG in browsers:
Then I just wonder why requiring Internet Explorer was an option (Adobe's SVG Viewer crashed
Gecko render engine based browsers since ages), but Firefox is not?

Viewers independent from the browser are available.

> Adobe is ending support for their SVG Viewer for Windows on January 1, 2008 and it is
not supported in Windows Vista -
> http://www.adobe.com/svg/pdfs/ASV_EOL_FAQ.pdf
> Looking over the following site -
> http://wiki.svg.org/Viewer_Implementations
> there doesn't seem to be any free SVG Viewers available for Windows anymore.
> Requiring Firefox or Opera browsers should not be an option.
