I think this is a perfectly reasonable feature request... if we're going to provide features
in the runtime, we need to be sure a development enviorment can propertly support it as well.
 Otherwise, I suggest we compltely take out the sharedlib support so that users don't treat
it as a deployment mechanism.  Thus avoiding feature reqests such as this.
