Is this going to make it impossible to check out a single module and build it, requiring instead
that you check out the entire geronimo tree in order to build?  If so, are we all really sure
this is desirable?  The total lines of code appear to be the same before and after this patch.

For instance, I believe the continuum setup checks out modules, applications, and configs
(at least) separately from the main project.  Would this break?
