Subject [jira] Updated: (GERONIMO-1434) Allow GBeans to be bound into a component's java:comp/env namespace
Date Tue, 16 May 2006 07:41:06 GMT

David Jencks updated GERONIMO-1434:
-----------------------------------

    Attachment: 1434_sample.diff

really quick sample to demonstrate gbean ref, by traducing the remote deploy app.

Note that you can now specify multiple interfaces (target must implement all) and multiple
patterns (target must match one). The xml is not intended to imply that you can have a reference
to a collection of gbeans.

> Would be nice if proxies to GBeans could be placed in a component's private JNDI space.
> The 1.0 release includes a gbean-ref element in the jndiEnvironmentRefsGroup that appears
to hold the required settings.
> David J notes that some code is present in the class is GBeanProxyReference and there's
some code that doesn't work in ComponentContextBuilder -- we just need to add some stuff to
ENCConfigBuilder for these and bind them directly.
