Subject [jira] Commented: (GERONIMODEVTOOLS-35) Plugin: There are two generic servers at Run as--Run... view
Date Mon, 09 Jan 2006 23:32:20 GMT

Sachin Patel commented on GERONIMODEVTOOLS-35:

The Geronimo server is using the generic server framework and this may be the reason why it
appears under Generic Servers and not under a "Geronimo" category. I'll see if there is a
way to override this behavior.

As far as the second Generic Server, this may be a WTP bug, as I agree all Generic Server's
should be listed togather.

> If I right click the hello program, and select Run as--Run..., the run configuration
screen has two generic servers there like below:
> Apache Tomcat
> Eclipse Application
> Generic Server
> --Apache Geronimo 1.0
> Generic Server
> The second generic server should be removed. Also, is there a reason why Apache Geronimo
is under Generic Server, while Apache Tomcat is not?
