The var/config.xml file is always re-written even if no attribute changes are made by the user
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

         Key: GERONIMO-1354
         URL: http://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/GERONIMO-1354
     Project: Geronimo
        Type: Bug
  Components: startup/shutdown, usability
    Versions: 1.0
    Reporter: John Sisson
     Fix For: 1.1

This means the user can never edit the config.xml file while Geronimo is running. The user
has to shut down Geronimo and then make their changes and therefore the amount of time to
implement a change is longer than needed.

For 1.0 I will add some extra text to the warning in the top of the config.xml file ( see
org.apache.geronimo.system.configuration.ServerOverride) that tells the user not to edit the
file whilst Geronimo is running.
