Currently the assembly plugin fills the geronimo repo using marked dependencies from project.xml.  This duplicates information from the configurations the assembly plugin is installing.

The assembly plugin should extract the list of dependencies from each config it is installing and install all those dependencies in the geronimo repo.  At the moment this still requires all possible dependencies to be listed in project.xml to make sure they are on the current system, but if we use a maven version with transitive dependency support simply listing the configs to include as dependencies should be sufficient.
