Subject [jira] Commented: (GERONIMO-1185) Updated Web Access Log Viewer doesn't display any log records

Joe Bohn commented on GERONIMO-1185:
------------------------------------

The problem actually only exists for Jetty. I didn't get Tomcat log records because there
weren't any yet. It seems that the JettyLogManagerImpl was updated to use the File.separator
instead of checks for both unix and windows separators when attemping to locate the logs.
This is a problem because the log names are not OS specific at the moment ... but rather
hard coded in the plan and/or java code dependning upon implementation. Therefore, we need
to check for both styles of separator based upon who might have created the log name. Tomcat
was not changed and hence this is why it continued to work.

> I tried various combinations of date ranges, ignore dates, record types, etc. ....
I had both containers running and numerous log records in each.
