Subject OpenEJB Failure (due to recent change?)
Date Fri, 22 Jul 2005 01:14:40 GMT
I'm getting this in OpenEJB assembly:

    [java] 20:48:40,223 ERROR [GBeanInstanceState] Error while starting;
GBean is now in the FAILED state:
objectName="openejb.deployer:J2EEApplication=null,J2EEModule=org/apache/geronimo/J2EEDeployer,J2EEServer=openejb,j2eeType=ModuleBuilder,name=EJBBuilder"
    [java] java.lang.NullPointerException
    [java]      at
org.apache.geronimo.kernel.basic.BasicKernel.createGBeanName(BasicKernel.java:364)
    [java]      at
org.apache.geronimo.kernel.basic.BasicKernel.getGBeanData(BasicKernel.java:190)
    [java]      at
org.openejb.deployment.OpenEJBModuleBuilder.getLinkData(OpenEJBModuleBuilder.java:165)
    [java]      at
org.openejb.deployment.OpenEJBModuleBuilder.<init>(OpenEJBModuleBuilder.java:149)

The code is:

    private static GBeanData getLinkData(Kernel kernel, Object
webServiceLinkTemplate) throws GBeanNotFoundException {
        ObjectName webServiceLinkTemplateName =
kernel.getProxyManager().getProxyTarget(webServiceLinkTemplate);
-->     GBeanData linkTemplate =
kernel.getGBeanData(webServiceLinkTemplateName);

	I think this was the recently added stuff -- could the OpenEJB
plans be missing something?

Thanks,
	Aaron
