Subject [jira] Closed: (GERONIMO-333) Support for JAAS callback-handlers in J2EE App Clients
Date Thu, 09 Jun 2005 06:52:15 GMT

David Jencks closed GERONIMO-333:
---------------------------------

    Fix Version: 1.0-M4
     Resolution: Fixed

Implemented in rev 189719. In addition to the spec-compliant no-arg-constructor CallbackHandler,
I added support for a callback handler that takes a String[]. If such a constructor is found,
it is used with the command line args. This can be useful to supply the app client with UP
on the command line.

> The callback-handler element names a class provided by the application. The class must
have a no args constructor and must implement the javax.security.auth.callback.CallbackHandler
interface. The class will be instantiated by the application client container and used by
the container to collect authentication information from the user.
