Subject [jira] Commented: (GERONIMO-636) Run Geronimo Server
Date Fri, 27 May 2005 19:31:53 GMT

Dain Sundstrom commented on GERONIMO-636:
-----------------------------------------

This is normally caused by the mx4j remoting jar not being on the system classpath. The normal
geronimo executable server.jar contains this jar, so I'm going to need more information.

What command did you execute?
What is the java vm vendor and version number?
What OS vendor and version are you using?
If you got a stack trace can you post it?

> Run Geronimo Server

>
> I have downloaded the Geronimo installer and install Geronimo. When I have attempted
to start the server the following error is arised:
> Caused by java.net.MalformedURLException: UnSupported protocol RMI
> What is wrong here?
> PS: I did not find any mailing list to send this, so I have sent it here.
