yes, the openejb jars at codehaus are out of date.  I don't know why  
they have a dependency on wsdl4j but I believe they do and that this is  
the source of these problems.  Building openejb from source should fix  
the problem on your local machine.  I'm in the middle of a fairly large  
refactoring and don't have any clean copies of openejb on my machine  
right now: if I can get the refactoring done I'll try to remember to  
upload newer jars.

This points out yet again our need for an automated continuous  
integration system that uploads successful builds to the appropriate  
repositories.  IMNSHO we are going to continue to have these problems  
until such a system is in place working reliably.  Depending on  
developers to remember to upload new working versions is never going to  
produce usable results.  I upgraded geronimo and openejb to wsdl4j-1.5  
on April 4, 10 days ago, and no one has updated the openejb jars since  
then, even though at least 2 other people have committed changes to  
openejb since then.
