Date Fri, 09 Jan 2004 03:54:39 GMT
The following issue has been updated:

    Updater: Brendan W. McAdams (
       Date: Thu, 8 Jan 2004 9:53 PM
This is a first draft of my work; it works on Mac OS 10.2.3 & RedHat 9 with Sybase 12.5.x
and Jconn5.5.

It can successfully ejbCreate, and report back/set the ID; however findByPrimaryKey is still

This is a hack at the CMPOperationFactory level as we haven't come up with a more permanent
framework for detecting with CreateMethod to use yet.
             Attachment changed to EJBAutoKeyGen.tgz

I (Brendan) am working on some code to support DB Level auto-key-generation, such as mysql
autoincrement, sybase/ms-sql identity, and postgresql serial.

I'd like to track the issue and provide interim patches as they're available.
