Subject [jira] Commented: (GERONIMO-66) JavaMail Bugs and Improvements Uber-Bug and other related bugs
Date Tue, 02 Sep 2003 08:42:10 GMT
The following comment has been added to this issue:

     Author: Alex Blewitt
    Created: Tue, 2 Sep 2003 3:40 AM
       Body:
The UB2-2 contains the necessary patches for the existing code in the repository. Those are
the files that (a) exist in the repository already, and (b) have changes made to them.

The other set of files -- those beginning with 'specs/' are the new files, which are provided
in one of the JAR files above -- probably javax-mail-test and javax-mail-internet-test (forget
what I called them, but think those names sound reasonable).

You should be able to apply UB2-2 along with the new JAR files to replace the original UB2
patch.

FWIW this is one of the reasons why I sent smaller individual patches; patching the entire
directory which contains a mixutre of new/changed files is a right pain ...

Here is an overview of the issue:
---------------------------------------------------------------------
        Key: GERONIMO-66
Summary: JavaMail Bugs and Improvements Uber-Bug and other related bugs
       Type: Bug

     Status: In Progress
   Priority: Minor

 Time Spent: Unknown
  Remaining: Unknown

    Project: Apache Geronimo

   Assignee: David Blevins
   Reporter: David Blevins

    Created: Mon, 1 Sep 2003 12:23 PM
    Updated: Tue, 2 Sep 2003 2:32 AM

Description:
This item consolidates patch numbers 49-56 and 58-65.

Promoting to 'bug' since some of these bug numbers are bugs and not improvements. Had the
individual bugs been left open, then these relationships would have shown up which bugs were
still awating application, and thus future patches could have referred to those individually
rather than the Uber Bug.
